New Year's Eve at Pete's Dueling Piano Bar in Addison, Tx. It was a blast, even though Tina couldn't drink. We sat with a very nice couple from Dallas who partied the night away.
We spent New Years in Dallas to attend the Cotton Bowl. Tina gave tickets to Jim as a second (cotton) anniversary gift. It was such a fun weekend. We stayed at the hotel where the Big 12 stays, which was Oklahoma State University this year. The whole place was crawling in orange. Everyone was dressed head to toe in orange the whole weekend. Some people even drove orange cars! They just took over the whole city. What a sight to see! And the OSU fans were so nice...we were very glad we stayed with them at the Anatole.
We visited Dealey Plaza, sight of the John F. Kennedy assassination. It was chilling and extremely emotional. The 6th Floor of the School Book Depository was turned into a museum, which we spent much time exploring. It is very well done and quite educational. We highly recommend this trip to anyone.
View of the "Grassy Knoll" from the plaza green.
What a chilling photo. The "X" marks the spot where the assassination occurred.
The Cotton Bowl Game on January 2; Oklahoma State vs. Ole' Miss. What an exciting game it was. Ole' Miss won 31 - 28.
Check out all that orange!!

Fort Worth Stock Yards.
We spent a day here enjoying the cowboy way of life and shopping for cute western souvenirs.
